Poindexter Lumber Company was founded in 1908
by J.R. Poindexter. It has been owned and operated
by the Poindexter family (currently 4th generation)
and at the same location ever since. Poindexter
Lumber has served Cynthiana and Harrison County,
Kentucky with dependability for 96 years.
Our site has been recently updated but still under
construction. Please check out our products list
page. It includes a list of many of the items we carry.
We actually carry over 3,900 items including lumber,
treated lumber, plywood, roofing, moulding, HyKlas
paints, paint sundries, concrete blocks, cement,
mortar, Sakrete, fiberglass and cellulose insulation,
sand, tools, nails, bolts, glass, windows and doors,
guttering, drywall, paneling, builder's hardware, vinyl
siding and more. Many of these items will soon have
their own pages.
Some of the services we offer include free computer
color matching, free color visualization, metal break
rental, free use of insulation blower with insulation
purchase, and screen and window repair to name a
few.
